Meet the Team

Charlene Burke founded Search by Burke LLC in 2008 to offer full-service online marketing to the business community. She has been online since 1995, saw the introduction of Google and has watched the industry evolve from a "wild west, anything goes" landscape to an empowering environment for any person wanting to communicate their message beyond their local community. Trained in all aspects of online marketing, she can be found doing keyword research and analytics, or creating an email campaign, or following up with a customer about a website question, or doing some competitive intelligence, or sometimes even making sure the online reputation management is on track.

Bukie is a talented web developer, bringing years of experience to the team. Whether it's a basic 5 page informational site, a multi-cart ecommerce site built to serve both retailers and wholesalers, she is up to the task of making sure the site does exactly what our clients need it to do.

Annie is our WordPress expert and database development specialist. She has a terrific sense of design and also understands the importance of making the website a marketing site.

Doug is a talented programmer and developer, bringing years of experience to the team. Having worked with large clients requiring deep database capabiliities as well as the smaller client that needs a process for converting visitors into sales leads and customers, he's an excellent addition to the team and we're glad to have him.

Michelle is our graphics designer. Young and creative, she brings her experience designing for the entertainment industry to our team and your project. Want cutting edge graphic design ideas and elements? Not a problem. Need something modern and refined? Not a problem. Looking for a 'look' that represents you and your company? Not a problem.

Paula is our copywriter. And can she write! Experienced with offline and online copy writing, she focuses on guiding the visitor throughout a website using best practices in Call to Action, while always focusing on the benefits of the product or service being offered on the site. Conscientious, creative and easy to work with are just a few ways to describe her work style.

Sheryl is our author that we use for blogs and articles. She has experience in backlinking and article marketing that supports the SEO efforts of the team. Getting your site talked about, noticed by searchers and placing content in strategic places is just a part of what she does.

Greg is part of our sales team with a background in television production, which gives him a unique perspective and talent for assisting us with our clients' video projects, creating storyboards and determining the end goal. He also has a background in providing online marketing to various industries. His sales approach is easy going, while always keeping the clients' needs as the purpose for the discussion.

Dave is part of our SEO team, bringing excellent training and knowledge to each project.  He lives for data and works closely with Charlene when needed to ensure that the client is being seen by the search engines.

Camille is our PPC expert. She can handle any campaign with any number of keyword groupings. Her talents lay in making sure our clients' budgets are reasonable while keeping the Cost per Click as low as possible. Which in turn makes sure our clients' PPC campaigns are successful.

This is our core group. We add people if needed, experts we've worked with on other projects, and with whom we trust our client projects with. Every member of our team believes that the client comes first, and that their online presence and success is our top priority.
